Before you start pairing your dash cam, please make sure that your iPhone is within reach and you have connected the dash cam to a power source by plugging the provided charging cable into the USB car charger.
Please note: if you have updated your iPhone to iOS 14, make sure Local Network is enabled: Go to your iPhone's Settings > Nexar > toggle ON Local Network. The pairing process will fail if the Local Network permission is toggled OFF.
To confirm that you are paired, enter the Nexar app > More > Settings > External Camera and verify that the Pairing Status switches to Paired (this may take up to 2 minutes).

Are you still having trouble?
Kindly try to connect your dashcam through the WiFi settings of your iPhone:
- Make sure your phone’s WiFi setting and dash cam are switched ON
- Under available networks, select your dash cam’s WiFi network beginning with DIRECT-NEX
- Enter the password 12345678
In order to complete the pairing process, please enter your iPhone’s Settings select Bluetooth, and toggle it ON. Don't hesitate to contact our Support Team if you have any further questions.
