What is Nexar One's Low Battery Prompt

Understand how the Nexar app detects when Nexar One's battery is about to run out and what to do when it happens

This Nexar app feature is specific to Nexar One dash cams. If you see a Low battery status in the dash cam status bar, this means that the battery level has reached 30% and the Nexar One has entered Battery Saving Mode.

To avoid complete drainage of the Nexar One's battery, the remote live stream option is disabled in order to preserve battery for parking incidents. No worries, your Nexar One’s battery will be charged when it's connected to power while you are driving. It could take between 45-95 minutes to fully charge the Nexar One, depending on the state of the battery.

Parking Incidents when Battery Saving Mode is enabled for Nexar One

Nexar One preserves battery so it can wake up in case of a parking incident. In case of impact, Nexar One will turn on and record a 30 second parking clip. The video will be uploaded to the cloud, and if you have a +Connectivity add-on and you are subscribed to Nexar Connect, you will get a message via text. If you would like to start a remote live stream after getting this text message, simply open the Nexar app and tap the Live button. This button will be disabled after 5 minutes.
